General Appointment

Barbara Schroeder. MD
Obstetrics & Gynecology

Appointments fill early.  We try our best to accommodate everyone. Please call to schedule your annual wellness/preventative exam 3-4 months before you are due to come in.  Obstetric patients with problems will be seen the same day they call with a problem. Gynecological problem-related visits will be worked in as soon as possible based on the urgency. If my schedule is overbooked, we may ask you to see the nurse practitioner as she can often get you in earlier.

Obstetrics patients will need appointments every month until 28-30 weeks, every two weeks until 36 weeks and weekly thereafter. We ask you to please schedule as many of these visits as you can in advance in order to eliminate long waits due to overbooking. For complicated pregnancies we will make the necessary adjustments based on the medical problem.

Two to three days prior to your appointment you will receive a courtesy call from our appointment reminder system reminding you of your scheduled time. Please make sure we have your correct telephone number.  Please give us at least 24 hour notice if you must cancel an appointment out of courtesy to other patients who may be waiting to get in.

We are happy to hear from you. Please contact us using the information below:
